The American Dream
Do you have a dream in your heart? Do you dream of something more real, lasting, true, and good? Do you have hope in your heart? Hope is a good thing. It is wonderful to have a noble, spiritually uplifting dream. Actually, that is the one True "dream," reflecting the hope for spiritual liberation from all that oppresses us in this world. It is the hope to come closer to the Truth, and be set free.
These are excerpts from a speech delivered in 1963 at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., by Martin Luther King, Jr.
"Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity. But one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the Negro is still not free.
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.'
"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.
"I have a dream that one day the state of Alabama, whose governor's lips are presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today. I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. This is our hope.
"When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, 'Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!'"
The dream of being free — the True dream in which all of the Good will be reunited in a Divine realm of justice, truth, love, and light — will surely come to pass. But not in this world. That makes it all the more important to hold onto that spiritual dream, even while in this world, even while faced with a life that crushes the spirit, or tries to destroy our Highest hopes.
A dream — a sense of a Higher Reality, or your place in it — can be crushed all too easily by an uncaring world
Today, we have greater segregation in our schools than we did when Martin Luther King, Jr. gave that speech. And it is black people who are demanding it, who are demanding to be separate from white people, all of whom they deem oppressive, evil, and inferior.
So, it is even possible for a noble spiritual dream to not only wither from neglect, but to be reversed by those it was intended to help or free. This is the sad fate of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream.
There is a dream of equality, and then there is today's dream of "equity," which means taking from those that have and giving it all to those who don't. Just because they see themselves as oppressed. And it is not just black people who demand reparations — in some cases, five million dollars each plus 100,000 dollars a year for the next 250 years. Leftist, socialist, Marxist white people are wanting the same thing.
What has happened to the spiritual dream of equality in the eyes of God, our Creator?
It has been turned into a program of ever greater submission to our real oppressor, Satan. A dream of peace, love, and sharing has been transformed into one of absolute hatred, conflict, division, and irreconcilibility. The dominant forces in America are seeking racial war, and even a division of the United States itself, again. And there is enormous power and financial support for the tearing apart of America — Black Lives Matter, founded by Marxist, anti-America, anti-white racist lesbians has raised $89 billion for its cause. And made every aspect of American society bend a knee.
Of course black lives matter. But daring to tell the spiritual truth that all lives matter to God is now deemed proof of a hate crime, racism, and evilness. Doing so gets people fired from their jobs, removed from office, expelled from school, and charged with crimes. Just like daring to say that there are two sexes. It is the same anti-reason, anti-truth forces in our society that are hell-bent on reversing and denying every Truth. And, they are Satanic.
America was founded on a dream of spiritual freedom, the freedom of religion, and the freedom to express one's opinions without being censored, attacked, or destroyed.
But, what has come about in recent years is a complete reversal of these founding principles — which are deemed evil and oppressive by blacks since they were crafted by white men. And everything that was ever done by white people in this land, and around the world, is deemed evil by definition in Critical Race Theory (which was also designed by Marxist communists).
So communists have essentially taken control of our society, our culture, education, government, and even religion. How many churches have taken a knee to the overwhelmingly leftist, godless, Black Lives Matter and LGBTQP agenda? How many institutions and government agencies and businesses have adopted anti-American policies of using skin color or "gender" to place people in positions of authority and power over all of us?
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream that the little children would play together and hold hands, that they would overlook skin color, is now called racist by black people. They demand that skin color be the sole determining factor in how people are acknowledged, known, identified, and promoted in society, today. They declare that daring to overlook a person's colored skin is an act of racist violence.
How has it come to this? What became of the American Dream?
Satan. There is no other cause of it.
The most godless, irresponsible, hateful, and anti-human people in our society have taken power. And what fills that vacuum is Satan.
Where God is prevented from having any place, Satan rules.
People live in self-imposed bondage; they have addictions, ambitions, and illusions that promote every lie
They are unwilling or unable to face reality, to admit the truth, to resolve their own problems. As a poor substitute, they cater to ego, illusions, materialistic or worldly ambitions — and they can be quite "successful" at that. They can spend their whole lives chasing after something, or getting it, but never really filling that void in them. They just find a better distraction, a better illusion, a more effective way of avoiding looking within themselves. And, this is not really "living their dream." It is much more like living in a world of illusions, and never coming close to the truth, or never finding who you really are, inside. So, society's problems keep growing. Illusions never solve anyone's problems.
This is what comes of denial of God of any place in our lives.
Jesus welcomes us all, equally. Jesus does not care in the least about skin color, sexual identity, or your music playlist. Jesus cares about "the content of your character," and what is in your heart. Is it love or hate?
You have to look within your self.
