The Time Has Come

  • Reverend R. T.

Look around you. The world is going through upheaval. Economic and political "realities" are shifting. Social conflict and racial strife are common throughout this "civilized world." Hate, violence, and war are on the rise. Nuclear weapons remain the ultimate bargaining tools of nations. Crime, scandals, and corruption are everywhere. The poor are getting poorer. Child abuse is epidemic. Divorce is common. Things are breaking down.

Problems are pandemic in this world, from the level of the individual to the global level. If all of our trusted institutions, experts, and authorities had all of the answers, life would be bliss. People individually abandon their capacity to solve problems by mistakenly turning over that power and responsibility to the "authorities" of our social institutions. Instead of solving all our problems, these increasingly corrupt, deceptive institutions multiply our problems.

Government looks after our health, welfare, retirement, education, and security; businesses make huge profits; money has been thrown at every problem from COVID relief to the war in Ukraine. Our livelihood and social standing depend upon technology; we are nearly drowning in information. Despite the prevalence of the mass media, people are rather unaware, unempowered, and resigned to accepting things as they are. And there are countless religious sects, a church on every corner, to reassure us in every way. So, why do things keep getting worse?

Why do fear, hate, abuse, exploitation, war, poverty, hunger, disease, and disaster never go away?

Despite the prevalence of spiritual darkness, most of the time, life can appear quite normal. But, "normal" simply means what we have come to accept over time. The world may appear to be progressing, but problems are multiplying. Being alive at this time can be overwhelming. People are suffering greatly from natural disasters, wars, terrorism, diseases, economic hardships, relationship problems, addictions, and the stresses of life.

A turn of luck, a change in life circumstances, a wind blowing in one direction or the other, and the most unexpected problems engulf you. Whether you are wealthy or impoverished, an executive or a homeless person, you have to know that there is a fine line which separates one from the other. Whether you are a fiancée or a divorcee, a student or a dropout, a business magnate or a felon, a member of organized religion or an unsatisfied spiritual seeker, there often isn't all that much that separates the two. As much as we continually hope to be raised up, we may be unexpectedly knocked down.

Life changes quickly. What we knew yesterday no longer applies today; everything is changing — information, jobs, relationships, technology. This change is all, by definition, stressful; and the greater the stress, the more it can take root within us, resulting in loss of self-confidence, self-reliance, or our way in life. Where do we find our true self, in a world that can seem so confusing, overwhelming, or even hopeless at times? Rather than looking outside ourselves, sooner or later we need to turn within. With courage, practice, a willing spirit, and an open mind we can find our own answers, and a place to stand, within. Let an unchanging God be your strength in changing and challenging times.

Your answers are to be found within you. Find what speaks to you in your own heart, with truth, love, and simplicity.

Where in the world is God?

God is right there in your heart. For all of those who wonder, "Where is the Truth?" we say: the truth is not "out there," but in your own heart. Knowing that isn't enough; you have to live that Way. It takes practice.

You might ask, "If it is as simple as this, why does it take so many words to explain it?" Because this simple connection with the Highest — and with Truth — within you is invalidated, daily, in many ways, in the media, science, politics, relationships, and so on. Understanding how this happens — how the Truth, the Light, and the Way are denied in the world-at-large — lets you come closer to this place within you. You may no longer fall for the sleight-of-hand of politicians and other worldly authorities, which we refer to as programming and indoctrination. They all know how to mis-use words to deny a Greater Truth, to separate you from truth, within you. So, do take time for meditation and prayer, and seek your own truth, within you.

Take time each day to step back from the stresses, pressures, and demands of the world, a world which often doesn't really speak to who you are, inside — a world which, instead, demands your conformity and acquiescence. Take some time to find real answers, and your true self. Learn what it means to Be, here, now. Choose your path in life wisely, and you will learn to live in peace, love, and Light.

Until you become aware, understand the way things really are, and learn how to act according to your own valid perceptions of what is right, good, and true — the world will defeat you. Life is full of traps, in all areas of finances, relationships, work, health, law, and government. Isn't it worth learning how to avoid or get out of the traps and problems you may find yourself in — especially those problems yet to come?

With greater awareness, you can see what is right and DO it. There is one way to truly solve problems: by releasing what is wrong and embracing what is right. Break the hypnotic spell that may cause you to go through life unaware, unempowered, trapped, or even resigned to suffering. Do not mindlessly accept things as they are, or accept the status quo as the way things ought to be. Be more aware than that, question things; think for your self.

There is a way to cope with life by learning to listen to your own inner wisdom, guidance, and goodness. It is a choice you make to be true to your own self, and the God of your heart. There is a greater peace, truth, and love within you. It is strong, vital, alive, and persevering in the most difficult circumstances. It is where the Light shines in you, to always guide you, to never fail you. And once you know it, and learn to live from there, you will find that it is the only Way to live. With Christ in your heart, guiding you. Christ is that Light.

Life is a journey, through this world and beyond

Imagine yourself on a very long journey. You have been traveling forever, it seems. Thousands and thousands of years you have been on this journey. You have witnessed all that occurs in human life, all of the happy moments, all of the sad ones, the apparent successes, the obvious disappointments and failures, the birth and death of ideas, philosophies, cultures, civilizations, and nations. The world has been the background for birth, death, war, violence, technology, ideologies, economic systems, religions, business, trade, education, scientific "advances," and much suffering. You have journeyed through thousands and thousands of years; you have seen civilizations come and go. You have seen what mankind has built change, disappear, and start anew. And, all of this has brought us to this moment in time. Here, now.

The world sits on a precipice today, perhaps the End Time, or the end of time. This life, this brief moment in time, will open up into eternity, eternal Life, with God.

"And God shall wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever." — Revelation 21:4

We are living in the time of revelation, apocalypse — which means the “unveiling of what is hidden.” The veils are disappearing, so that we may see the Light from Darkness, the Truth from the Lie, and choose accordingly.

There has never been a time before this in which everything is coming to light, and all the hidden works of Darkness are being exposed and revealed. This is the result of the final confrontation between good and evil, in which good is victorious.

We each must make our choice to be in the Light, to personally accept the offer of liberation from Darkness. For believers in Christ, know that the anti-Christ, that hidden Darkness which has opposed God from the beginning, is defeated in Christ. Christ has overcome all evil and darkness. But, remember, we still must make a personal choice, to reject all Darkness and Evil, while we are in this world.

All souls choose to be with God and Christ, or not

All beings ultimately choose good or evil, choosing their own fate. Many do not make the right choice, because their every thought, word, choice, and action has an unsuspected but very real allegiance to something other than the True God. In other words, they are so totally lost in Darkness they cannot see or recognize the true Light, the saving Grace of God.

What we are witnessing now is the pouring down of Light to free us from Darkness. All souls and spirits who want to be with God and Christ, all who are faithful to the Light, are going to be saved, healed, and re-united with God and the family of Light. Forever.
