What Christ would say ... today
Take control of your mind.
As you go about your life, work, and other activities in this world, you are literally bathing in the thoughts, emotions, desires, intentions, and energies of those around you. You live in a sea of psychic energy, whether you are aware of it or not. Very few people are aware of this, but it is real.
Every thought that you think is a "psychic energy." Become conscious of your thoughts. Your thoughts reveal the state of your mind, and the extent to which it may be influenced by others — whether they are near you or far away.
Your thoughts affect not only you, but others as well. I do not mean only when you "express" your thoughts. But, rather, just having thoughts involves a mechanism for transmission of thoughts, and the energy behind them.
Thoughts can be either positive or negative, and have either a positive or negative influence on you and others. What I am getting at here is more than just what is called "positive thinking." In fact, your thoughts connect you to God or the Devil, whether you know it or not. So, be aware of your thoughts, and you may notice who or what is sponsoring your thoughts.
Do you have self-destructive thoughts? Those include anything that might weaken you or your connection with God; those that lead to addictive behaviors; and those that cause you harm or greater suffering.
Thoughts that cause you harm and move you away from your connection with God, are sponsored by Darkness, which is a living entity (also known as Satan, the Devil, and so on). Darkness has a mind. Which overshadows people and their thinking, in all nations, races, religions, science, education, government, business, technology, relationships, work, health, and so on.
How many people question their own thoughts? Most go through life imagining that all the thoughts they have are "their own," and just because they have them, they assume they must be for their benefit. That is not the case.
Most thoughts that people have come from external sources, and are often repeated so much — whether outside or inside the mind — that they become accepted as some sort of "truth." They are just a form of programming.
There is an old image of a person with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other, each whispering into their ear. And the person needs to choose which one to listen to, and follow. This is quite true. Even good people are subjected to what might be considered "attacks" on their mind, on their thinking, and on their sense of what is right and what is not.
So, what to do? Learn to observe your thoughts. One way is to practice a form of meditation in which you quietly observe the thoughts that pass through your mind, without trying to do anything about them. This acquaints you with what you have passing through your mind — you become more aware or conscious. Then, afterwards, as you go through the day, you can choose what thoughts you wish to accept or favor in your life, and which you need to reject. Then, do it.
Getting control of your thoughts takes practice. The world and all of its false authorities and talking heads in the media are actively pursuing control of your thinking, already. It is good to learn how to counterbalance their agenda and unspoken intents with your own intentions and true choice.
If you have not learned to take control of your own mind, others will do so.
Every word you speak takes the psychic energy of thought and converts it into an even stronger energy, which impacts your environment.
So, think about what you think, and what you say. And see if what you are thinking or saying is what you truly want to manifest in your life. If you think of it as either communing with and communicating with God, or the Adversary, it will remind you of the importance of seeking to align yourself — and your thoughts — with Truth, Love, God, and Christ.
What intentions do you have, in your thinking each day? Be aware of them and choose to let go of those that are negative, or which cause more suffering, and make a better choice. Choose what favors Peace, Love, Light, and Life. That is what I mean by "positive" — it is a spiritual quality, not a denial of Truth such that you convince yourself that it is all good. It is not all good.
Practice seeing things as they are, first, and then make the best choices you can to have your life reflect those Divine spiritual qualities from within you. That is where you will find My influence in your life.
In the name of Christ Jesus, this is so.
