Alcohol and Drugs
Alcohol and drugs are pervasive; they are available in every community. And, they are always self-negating in their larger effect, regardless of the social acceptance or comfort they may appear to provide.
As Goethe said, "Nothing is more terrible than ignorance in action." Or, as Martin Luther King, Jr. said, in more recent times, "Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity." You have to be able to tell right from wrong, truth from falsehood, and good from evil. Find that place, within you, where you recognize the Truth. Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, forever. Know what works for you and what does not.
If you want to know what is really right, good, or true for you, you need to question everything. This means turning over every decision in your life to the Light and Truth — God within — not your programming or social indoctrination.

There is a great difference between the Truth and the fiction we are made to accept in our everyday "reality." There is everything that this world is telling you, and there is what you are hearing, within.
You know Jesus. You have found God in your heart.
