The Light

  • Reverend R. T.

What is the Light? Spiritual Light is a quality of Divine presence, consciousness, and Purity. The Light is Christ. But Christ is much more than Light. The Light reflects or expresses Divine Good, Truth, and Love. It shows us the Way.

Whether or not we see a light, if we seek God, Christ, Jesus in our heart, the Light of God is there for us. It is the Light of higher consciousness, the light of love, the light of seeing clearly or discerning, the light of truth, the light which guides us, which lights our Way. It is the Light of true divine Life.

The Light is also a form of energy, from beyond this world. It is surely not produced by any physical or material means. It is entirely non-physical. As is our consciousness, our soul, our spirit. The Light is our connection beyond this world to a Divine realm of all good, all peace, love, joy, and eternal life. It is the brightest possibility for our future, with God and Christ.

If you seek the Light, the Light has already found you.

If you seek God, Christ, Jesus, then God has already found you.

There is one True Light

Though we usually do not see the Light of God, we are led by it. It shines on our path, and reveals God's Way.

The Light is a perpetual reminder of the way Home.

This world of glitter and dazzling illusions is merely a distraction from the true Light of God. The claim of the world to give you everything you need is baseless; sadly, the "promise" of a nice short life overshadows the promise of Jesus of eternal Life.

You cannot forsake God and expect to make worldly plans that God would abide. Which is why we turn to Christ, the spiritual Truth and Light in the Darkness. For us, Christ is the path beyond the Darkness. Everything in the world can be seen as not only a challenge but an obstacle to our connection with Truth and Light.

People can go their entire lives without ever seeking a Higher Truth, the spiritual Light and Higher Good of God. Their life is "good" enough that they feel they can put off choosing Light over darkness, Truth over lies, and the Ultimate Good over evil. Instead, people seek whatever gets them what they want in this life, in the world. But that is not God.

God waits for us to "see the Light."

Once we see the Light — and reject all of the workings of darkness, the big lies, and the false promises of a godless existence — Jesus walks with us, and keeps waiting with us until we are finally released from the world's traps. Jesus holds our hand as we walk the path revealed to us, with the Christ Light showing the Way.

We each see differently in the Light

There is a big difference between walking the revealed path of Light in your life, moment by moment — which is following Jesus — as opposed to memorizing a map or a book. There may be revealed teachings in a book, but Jesus wants to dwell in your heart. God wants to be able to guide you, to shine a Light that clarifies what you are experiencing as you move through the world.

You experience and interpret the world, everyone and everything, differently than anyone else. And that is a good thing. It shows that you have free will, an ability to make choices — moment by moment — in a way that makes sense to you.

What we all need is to gain perspective on our perceptions, our thoughts, our feelings, our desires. We can learn to do that by stepping back, even for a moment, to actually look at our thoughts, and our experience, to see it as if a Light is shining on it. Again, this takes practice.

We have Jesus in our hearts, and Divine Light in our consciousness. This is the nature of our soul or spirit, if we have turned toward God. Seeing the Light means you will begin to see everything in this world differently. As if for the first time.

The Light reveals a greater Truth, within you

If you do not understand that Satan is loose upon this world, and that the false “god” of this world is Satan — and he is in control of all of the world’s organized religion, government, education, the media, entertainment, economies and finance, big business, disease mechanisms, science and medicine, and whatever else you may depend upon to sustain you in this world — you have not come near the Truth and the Light. Christ came to reject Evil in every form, to teach how to discern the difference between Darkness and Light, truth and lies — for your self. Not as mandated by corrupt or deceived "authorities." The limitations mandated by the powers that be are designed to limit our connection to and expression of Spirit, the Truth, the Light in us.

How could Satan have managed such a total closing of the human mind, such that it is happy with there being absolutely no Truth, no Light, no Divine Good, no freedom, and no place for God and Christ?

Christ came to help you to survive spiritually. To bring the Light of discernment. Learn to use it. If you hold to the Light, and seek the Truth, you will find answers beyond what you once thought to be true.

We choose whether we wish to be with God or not. Not to in any way praise the Darkness of this world, but the fact is: given the presence of Darkness, lies, suffering, evil, and death, it makes the choice for God, Light, Truth, and eternal Life even clearer for those who want it. You simply have to choose it in your own heart. That is all that God asks of you, and that choice is entirely between you and God.

The Light has shown you the Way.
