What Christ would say ... today
So, tell me, have you made a place for God in your life?
And tell me this, have you also made a place for Satan in your life?
In a popular interpretation of so-called Christianity, people believe — and are taught by their church leaders and authorities — that God has made a place in Creation for Satan, the Devil, evil, wrongdoing, and suffering. Because ... it is somehow necessary, instructional, useful, helpful, or a means of testing or proving the worth and worthiness of God's children.
That is a lie. Sponsored by Satan, the father of lies.
Spiritual Darkness is not good, right, or helpful in any way for the true followers of God and Christ. Only Satan would make himself such a perversely "important" part of Creation — to usurp the power and authority and role of the True God of Love and Light. People make a place for Satan in their lives, accepting or giving in to immorality, wickedness, evil, temptation, and suffering.
I know about living a human life. You are not judged by God for being human.
Spiritual Darkness is not God's plan. It is not God's desire for any of the children of Light. Good does not need evil, to be good. There is a Way to make a place for the True God, and to banish Satan from your life, to whatever extent it is possible in this, Satan's realm. With your everyday focus and needs, please do not let God be marginalized in your life.
In today's world, the role of God is taken over by an all-powerful government and science and technology, which fulfill all of humanity's needs. But, do they really?
Humanists can identify all of the known human needs, yet fail to include God in their list. Of all the things that a human being might need in life — freedom, security, love, community, creative expression, purpose, sustenance — God must surely be at the top of the list.
The truth is, God is humanity's number one need. Always has been, is now, and always will be. And, unless you make a place for the True God, you are left with a life that is by default ruled by the force of spiritual Darkness.
Pray, meditate, devote time in your day for God and Christ. Listen to the still, small voice of God in your heart, and ask to be aligned with God, Truth, Love, Peace, Light, and the Power of God, daily.
This is God's Way. Acknowledge — but do not accept — the existence of Satan, the Devil, or Evil in this world. And do not imagine it goes away by simply ignoring it or claiming that it is just an old superstition that has no place in modern scientific / technological society. Do not accept or make a place for Satan in your life, whether theologically, socially, culturally, politically, educationally, or otherwise. Do everything you can to allow God, Christ Jesus, and the Light to dispel spiritual Darkness from your life.
This is a very real thing. It is not a metaphor for life, it is not some kind of ancient superstition. Understand, the problem with imagining that the Devil is not real is that the next step people take, in modern times, is to think that God is not real either. After all, isn't that just the other side of an old superstitious belief?
Do not accept all of the evils of this world, the way things are, as the way they should be. See, within you, a higher love, light, goodness, and right. Even if only in your own mind, with your own will, question, challenge, and reject every falsehood, every lie, every wrong in every part of your life.
Recognize the difference between the still, small voice of conscience — which is obedient to the True God — and the incessant voice of the world, which keeps pushing you toward the Lie, materialism, worldly "progress," and every trap that keeps you from God and Christ.
It is a choice you make. Now and forever. Seek God and God's Will, first, always, in all things. Let God and Christ have a role far superior to the role of Satan. If you do not give God and Christ a proper place in your life — not just in church — that place will be occupied by something else.
Follow Me, and choose God first, above all things of this world. Find the Love of God in your heart, and God be with you. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life eternal.
In the name of Christ Jesus, this is so.
